How to make money with online survey sites

There are tons of ways to make money online. One of the most popular ways of making money online is by taking surveys. Research companies pay millions of dollars each year finding out how consumers feel about products and services through online surveys.

Each survey can take around 10-30 minutes to complete and can be worth around 1-5 dollars. In order to cash in your money you will need to reach a "minimum payout". This will usually be 5,10, 20, or 30 dollars. Once you reach the minimum payout you can request a check to be delivered in your mail. Some survey sites will only pay through paypal. If you don't have a paypal account, you can sign up for free here.

Scams

Unfortunately, a large percent of money making schemes on the internet are scams. Anybody who tries to find work online will come across at least 1 scam site.

How to avoid scams

AVOID sites that::

1. Require a sign-up fee -
The first sign of a scam is the company or website asking you to pay a fee up front. You should never have to pay a fee in order to sign up for a site, no matter how tempting their offers are.

2. Are too good to be true -
You need to be careful with companies that promise you "too good to be true" payouts for surveys. Some survey sites promise surveys that pay up to 5-75 dollars. This is an overexaggeration and you'll find these "$75 surveys" will require you to make several purchases before you actually complete it.

3. Have high minimum payouts - Avoid any sites that have high minimum payouts like $100. Although some sites with high minimum payouts may actually pay you, most of them are clearly scams. You will find it harder and harder to reach the payout the more closer you get to it, and once you do, you'll find out that they're not going to give you your check.

Survey Sites You Should Use

Below are legitimate survey sites that I personally use(You must be at least 18 years old. If you are not, just say that you).

1. Opinion Outpost - A very good survey panel. Do all of the profile surveys and get survey invites in your email.

2. FreeGasMoneyOnline - $5.00 sign-up reward! Do the daily surveys under "High Octane Offers". Make sure to select "mark as pending" after completing a survey.

3. SurveySpot - One of my favorites. Tons of survey invites. Ignore the surveys that only give you sweepstakes entries.

4. Cashcrate - One of the best survey sites. You can make a lot of money off of this site. Do the daily surveys and the free offers

5. Treasure Trooper - Another good site. Very similar to cashcrate.

6. YourFreeSurveys - $4.00 sign-up reward! Just do the 2 "daily surveys". Ignore the high paying offers.

7. SurveySaavy - Get survey invites in email
surveysavvy

8. Fusioncash - $5.00 sign up reward! Do the offers under "Free/ No CC Needed", and the daily surveys.
Free Money at FusionCash!

14. Sendearnings - $5.00 sign-up reward! An exact clone of inboxdollars

Survey Taking Tips

1. Sign up for as many survey panels as you can - It's quite simple, the more surveys you get, the more money you make. Survey sites only give out a couple of surveys a week(or month). Invited survey are generally worth more than "daily surveys". So do all of your emailed surveys first, and then the daily surveys afterwards.

2. Lie your way to money - If a company sends out a videogame survey, they would want gamers to take the survey. If a nongamer takes the survey, and says that he/she did not buy any games that year, he/she will be disqualified from that survey and not receive any money. Surveys are limited, there are only so many surveys you can take in one day, so you will want to qualify for as many surveys as possible. You'll find that lying is necessary in order to make decent money taking surveys.

Tips for qualifying for a survey:
-You are always at least 18 years old(unless you know the survey is targeted for children). When signing up for survey sites, most of them will require that you be at least 18 years old, and so will the surveys they give you.
-You or anyone in your family do not work for any type of industry.
-The survey you are taking is always your first one
-You are the primary buyer of EVERYTHING in your household
-The first few questions will give you a hint on what the survey will be about. If they're asking about when you last bought a DVD, the survey will probably be about DVDs.
-The first few questions are the questions that will test to see if you're qualified to take it. Research companies will want to survey people who buy the products that they are asking about. If the survey is about yogurt, pretend that you are a yogurt fantatic who buys yogurt 4-6 times a week. If the survey is about videogames, you a hardcore gamer who plays tons of games.
-Don't answer questions too quickly. Some surveys will time your responses. If you answer a question too fast, you might get disqualified.

3. Avoid high paying offers - Along with surveys, survey sites will sometimes have offers available. All offers over $3.00 are going to have you buy something in order to complete it.

4. Use a separate email address - You will want to use a email address other than your personal one because you will get flooded with junk email.

5. Don't bother with the "YOU HAVE JUST WON A..." emails - If you read the fine print you will probably notice the phrase "participation required". That means you are required to make several purchases in order to recieve your prize. What you want to do to stop recieving these emails is to look at the bottom of the email and click on the "unsubscribe" link. All advertising emails are required to have an unsubscribe button in their email ads.

Other money making schemes

Swagbucks - Swagbucks is THE best search engine, simply because you get PAID for searching. All you have to do is use the search engine, and you win "swagbucks" every once in a while. These "swagbucks" add up after a while and you can exchange them for various prizes.

Reviewstream - You can get paid $0.40 just for writing a review($2.00 if it's a really good review). You can review pretty much anything. You could review movies, food, a hotel you just visted. Even your pet dog is reviewable. The downside to this website is that the minimum payout is $50 and you must have a paypal account in order to get paid.
